I certainly couldn't use truncated DIB's since I will be printing output which depends on an absolute scale ( Hz / cm ). You are creating a DIB at say 360 dpi and printing at 720 dpi. Our program is a cad/cam package and we do elevation and plan views to scale as well as rendered perspective views.
